Cogglesford Mill Cottage, a delightful and historic building nestled adjacent to the River Slea, was once home to the millers who worked the mill next door where flour has been produced for hundreds of years and still is today.

The cottages were almost derelict until they were renovated in 1990 and then used as offices.  We then purchased them in December 2003 and transformed them into what you see today, having achieved what we set out to do and create a friendly and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy freshly prepared delicious cuisine, sourced from some of Lincolnshire’s finest producers.

We are enthusiastic and passionate about the food we produce, the menus are changed regularly to introduce seasonal ingredients and vary the choices available.  As everything is prepared freshly to order please allow time to relax and enjoy your experience with us.

As you walk into the building, the low ceilings and the quaint rooms provide a cosy atmosphere.  Open for morning coffee and afternoon tea, the coffee lounge is a great place to sit and enjoy our own blend of roasted coffee beans ground freshly for you.  The restaurant is extremely versatile with menus to accommodate an informal lunch with friends or more formal fine dining. 

To the rear of the restaurant you will see stables and land that was once a farm but is now used for garden seating in the summer months.  A perfect venue for sitting by the river, sipping Pimms and enjoying our delicious food on a warm summer’s day or evening.
